On Monday, August 17, 2026, the community of Tok was ravaged by a forest fire, destroying many homes in our community. Although so much was lost, we were blessed in the fact that no lives were lost. But, with a brutal Interior Alaskan winter just around the corner, so many people need a warm place to stay. In response to this, CGYF has teamed up with so many other locals in our community to help provide shelter.

CGYF is just one role in an effort to help those who lost homes from the fires receive a warm place for the winter. Together with so many others, we are working to provide emergency shelters for all those who need one before winter.

Please join us, and so many others as we work to help those in the community of Tok receive the blessing of warmth and shelter before winter.
